A01   DiscoAttack         a super-cool fast-moving trance-like motion-synth that changes over time.     description             AT opens up the filter depending on how hard you press. cool for real-time effects.     aftertouch             all the basics work great (cutoff, resonance, etc.) knob 4 on "assign 2" creates a cool mix-depth effect between the two waveforms.     knobs           pitchwheel - bends pitch modwheel - adds to release length and creates a "warp" effect on the sound     wheel             arp on - great disco effect arp off - a simple lead that sounds like it's in a 4-d "sphere." use modwheel for extra effects when arp is off.     arp button             slider one controls the voice lead, slider two controls the ethereal background.     sliders

 

A02   XXXBreather         a sweepy vocal lead with an atmospheric sound behind it.     description             AT closes the filter, depending on how hard you press.     aftertouch             all the basics create great effects (cutoff, resonance, etc.). knobs 2 & 4 on the "assigns" control waveform volumes.     knobs           pitchwheel - bends pitch modwheel - creates a room-filling "wash" effect and mutes the voice.     wheel             arp on - creates the "wilting" lead effect. arp off - simplifies the lead.     arp button             slider one controls the edgy sound, slider two controls the heavy, grungy sound     sliders

 

A03   MoroderBsX         verrry cool synth bass. very tight. lots programmed.     description             AT opens up the filter and creates a resonant, bright, punchy bass effect with arp on, with arp off it fattens up the sound to sound like a super-fat, cutting lead synth.     aftertouch             all the basics work great (cutoff, resonance, etc.) knob 4 on "assign 2" creates a cool mix-depth effect between the two waveforms.     knobs           pitchwheel - bends pitch modwheel - opens up the filter to create fatness.     wheel             arp on - great disco pulsing bass. arp off - a fat bass or synth lead.     arp button             sliders 1 & 4 control wavesample volumes.     sliders

 

 

A04   RunnerLead         a smooth pad lead that opens up in intensity as time passes.     description             Aftertouch opens and closes the filter.     aftertouch             all the basics create great effects (cutoff, resonance, etc.). assign knob 2 controls filter and KN4 controls some volume.     knobs           pitchwheel - bends pitch modwheel - controls filter so you control the filter dynamics in real-time.     wheel             nothing special with the arp on this one. :)     arp button             slider one controls the waveform volume.     sliders

 

A05   Swathers MQ         cool percussive trance-like sound with great dynamics.     description             AT opens up the filter just a little and increases the resonance.     aftertouch             nothing major here just slight differences in filter.     knobs           pitchwheel - bends pitch modwheel - controls filters and second sample volume.     wheel             arp on - creates the dynamic effect. arp off - use the lower octaves for "swishing" sounds.     arp button             slider one is the sharper sound, slider two controls the shaker-type sound.     sliders

KN3 creates a "wash" in the effects. A08   Gun Runner         fat throaty bass with cool performance traits.     description             AT - very cool! controls the throat-box vocoder ya-ya effect.     aftertouch             KN2, some volume. KN4, intensity (watch out! :) ).     knobs           pitchwheel - bends pitch modwheel - pitch shift, but, use on lower octave and get that cool r&b "swirl bass" effect that so many people want.     wheel             arp on - interesting lick.     arp button             slider one controls the fat edge of the sound. slider two is the bass portion of the sound.     sliders

A11   SquigSqueek         thin, smooth synth lead with portamento and nice reverb delay.     description             AT closes the filter, creating a "talking" effect.     aftertouch             cutoff and resonance are where it's at, KN4 creates an interesting filter effect.     knobs           pitchwheel - bends pitch modwheel - creates the LFO modulation.     wheel             arp on - nuttin special. :)     arp button             slider one & three - the pad leads; slider two - the grungier part of the sound.     sliders

A14   TelePhonics         super cool something-who-knows-how-to-describe-but we love this sound, effect.     description             AT closes the filter, creates cool sounds.     aftertouch             KN1 cuts off the sound elements, KN3 creates a wash sound and KN4 creates a warbler effect. cutoff goes a long way, and watch out for resonance!     knobs           pitchwheel - bends pitch modwheel - turns the volume up and down on the "ping" sound.     wheel             arp on - creates the cool sfx trance. arp off - simply a unique sfx sound.     arp button             slider one is the ping sound, slider two controls the sfx stab.     sliders
