How Can I Pay?
The easiest way to pay is by credit card. We accept all major credit cards. You can email, fax or call in your credit card order. You can even order from the site. This is the fastest and the cheapest. If you have no access to a credit card, the next easiest is Money Order or Certified Check. We accept personal checks, but we wait one week for them to clear. Some people even send cash, since we are honest, this is fine.
How Can I Pay Internationally?
The easiest way to pay is by credit card. We accept all major credit cards. You can email, fax or call in your credit card order. You can even order from the site. This is the fastest and the cheapest.
If you have no access to a credit card, the next easiest is Money Order or Certified Check in US$. We have no idea on conversion rates, your local bank can help you.
You can also pay by wire transfer, but they take time... we have to wait for the money to arrive, and sometimes they charge us a $15 fee which the sender should be charging to themselves, which complicates things. If you'd prefer to send a wire transfer, please email us and we'll send you our bank information and the information on how to do it.
What are ROM cards?
ROM cards are the small metal or plastic cards that you insert right into your synth itself. These are all new patches designed around the internal samples, not new samples. The ROMs allow you to have an additional bank to your internal banks. If you download the Mac or PC sys-ex files, they usually overwrite the internal sounds.
They are also generally more convenientÉ you just pop them in, and play. But, of course, they are more expensive, and Mac and PC files can simply be emailed to you, which saves time, tax, and shipping. ROM cards have the exact same patches and information as the disk formats, just a different storage medium.
How do I download the sounds from my Mac or PC?
Is this easy to do? Yes, it normally is very easy to do, and buying sounds on Mac or PC format can save you a lot of money, sometimes well over 50%! Not to mention that they can be emailed, which means you can get your sounds the same day in many cases, and be using them right away! Emailing also saves you time, shipping and money, and customs, if you're an international customer.
For the Mac, we use MidiEx, and for the PC, we use Dumpster. Both are shareware programs that are free, and user friendly. Sys-ex transfers are normally easy to do and hassle-free, but we do recommend having a friend who can advise you who's experienced at MIDI and sys-ex, and who knows your specific system. Our tech support can't handle the intricacies that can happen in your own home or studio when you combine a computer and MIDI. It's best to have someone who can help you specifically, in your own home. But, we can tell you, most Mac and PC downloaders have to problem at all! We also give you instructions on how to download the sounds to make life easier.
